Hume Coal needed access to Alexander's land to get to neighbouring property where it intended to prospect for coal. Alexander and others were blockading the land to prevent entry by Hume Coal. Court granted an interlocutory injunction pursuant to s 82 of the Mining Act 1992 (NSW) to restrain the Respondents from blocking access to Hume Coal or inviting others onto their property for the purpose of blocking Hume Coal's access
