SUMMARY

(Excerpt from decision) Proposal to develop a Gas Import Jetty Facility at Crib Point and 57 kilometre gas transmission pipeline . Based on the reasons set out in this Report, the IAC concludes that while most of the Project’s environmental effects can be acceptably managed, the Project would have unacceptable effects on the marine environment within an area of high conservation value and should not proceed. Recommendations - If the Project is approved, the IAC makes the following recommendations
