Excerpt from judgment: [1] The permit applicant, Mr Eryurek, seeks planning permission for three new dwellings…[91] Objectors are concerned about lower portions at the rear of the review site being subject to flooding. Mr Pickard referred to climate change and the history of floods past as well as the welfare of rabbits and chickens kept on private land to the south of the review site. [92] Whilst I understand these concerns they do no, in my opinion, amount to reasons to refuse the permit sought.
