[1] This is an appeal against a decision of a refugee and protection officer, declining to grant refugee status and/or protected person status to the appellant, a citizen of Tuvalu.

[2] The appellant claims that there is a real chance of being persecuted if returned to Tuvalu in relation to a breach of his right to work, right to safe water and under the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child.
