SUMMARY

Movement lodged a Statement of Claim for Judicial Review on 25 November 2021 arguing that the National Land Transport Programme for 2021-24 (NLTP) did not comply with with purposes and provisions of (NZ) Land Transport Management Act 2003 (LTMA) or Government Policy Statement on land transport for 2020 (GPS 2021). They argued that the Agency failed to consider issues in relation to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in preparation of the NLTP 2021-2024. The application was dismissed.
